As a trial and appellate lawyer and a mediator with extensive experience, Robert D. Parrillo has built a track record of using mediation to help parties come together and settle their disputes, even in difficult case circumstances.

He has more than 20 years experience trying cases before juries, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. He has appeared frequently before appellate courts including the Rhode Island Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.

In addition to client representation, Mr. Parrillo has counseled judges and lawyers and lectures often at CLE seminars on trial and arbitration practice, ethics, evidence, damages and other litigation related topics.

He is a native Rhode Islander and a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and Suffolk University Law School. He is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell, a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and serves as bar Examiner for the United States District Court with responsibility to teach and test on ethics.
